50 paintings of Alcatraz Island

I see Alcatraz Island out my car window every time I cross the Bay Bridge. It never stays the same from my high vantage point, whether it’s clear or foggy, day or night,  it’s always mysterious and a bit foreboding.

I decided to do a numbered “painting a day” based on my recollection of how I felt about the viewing, a mental snapshot, with an artistic license.
